727 Public Transportation Vehicles Controlled in C. Jakarta

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. has controlled 727 public transportation vehicles along January-September 17, 2017. Most vehicles controlled are metromini, kopaja and bajaj.

The most BAP made is for bajaj with 408 units and 5 other units are stopped its operation

"Those vehicles are controlled, as they stop and pick up passenger illegally, do not complete the document and do not wear the uniform," said Harlem Simanjuntak, Head of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Tuesday (9/19).

Based on the data, controlling towards metromini with a dossier case (BAP) is about 138 units and 57 other units are stopped its operation. Then for BAP towards kopaja is reaching 83 units and 36 other units are stopped its operation.

"The most BAP made is for bajaj with 408 units and 5 other units are stopped its operation," he told.

He added, the owner should undergo the trial in the court. About the fine, will be decided by the judge presiding over the trial

"In the meantime, vehicles stopped are brought to Pulogebang, Cilincing, Rawa Buaya and Pulogadung," he finished.
